Event The Enchanted Fashion Show Featuring Isis King (America's Next Top Model))
Location Corwin Pavilion
Description
The Enchanted Fashion Show will create an inclusive and empowering space for students to actively challenge various forms of oppression through a creative outlet. Hosted by Isis King, the first trans* woman of color contestant from America's Next Top Model, the fashion show will provide a direct platform to tackle issues of sexism, racism, and homophoic themes perpetuated in fairy tales. Prior to the show, Isis King will give a talk to the UCSB community about trans* issues, race, and fashion.
